When Mum says 'go and play' in that voice, it usually means that she and Dad are going to have a talk together, so Arthur takes the chocolate biscuit he's been handed and heads straight for his room.He especially likes to play Adventurers this week, and he has a special tent for adventuring in, right in his room, made of sheets and two clothes driers that Mum wasn't using. Inside he's got pillows from his bed for sitting on, and his colouring book and pencil-crayons so he can draw all the animals he sees with his special bi-noc-le-ars which he made himself (with Mum's help) out of two loo rolls and some sellytape.
When he crawls into the tent it seems to just keep going for some reason, and clutching his biscuit all the while, he eventually crawls until he ends up somewhere he's never been before.
He stands up, brushes off his knees (carefully, so he doesn't drop his biscuit, it's chocolate after all) and looks around himself.
WOW.
"Where am I?" He asks, breathless with amazement.
[Arthur is 6 years old and brighter than he looks, although honestly that's not exactly saying an awful lot.]

ETA: I've already written one for Martin Crieff,
As much as he'd always hoped for it to happen, Arthur Shappey had never really thought he'd find Narnia in his wardrobe one day.
As it happens, Narnia is almost exactly what he doesn't find, but given that he'd been expecting a cupboard full of cleaning products and the hoover, he's just as surprised as if he had come face to face with Aslan himself.
"WOW!"
He turns around and peers at the office behind him, trying to work out how Douglas managed to make a full bar be in the storage cupboard. Maybe, as he has long suspected, the First Officer really is magic. He's certainly really, really clever, and Arthur has no doubt that if anyone made this happen, it was definitely Douglas.
Whether it's Douglas or magic or both, Arthur clearly isn't going to miss an opportunity like this one, so with a deep breath, he takes his first step into the bar.
The door swings shut behind him, unnoticed. Arthur's eyes are wide and delighted.
"Brilliant!" He exclaims, not entirely quietly.
